Dubai’s New 700-Metre Bridge to Nad Al Sheba Set to Transform Connectivity and Cut Travel Time by 83%

  In a major move to enhance urban mobility and road efficiency,   Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA)   has announced the construction of a new two-lane, 700-metre bridge that will dramatically cut travel time to Nad Al Sheba. With a design capacity of 2,600 vehicles per hour, the bridge is expected to reduce the journey from Dubai–Al Ain Road to Nad Al Sheba from six minutes to just one — an impressive 83% reduction in travel time. Set to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025 and be completed by the end of 2026, the bridge aims to streamline traffic for approximately 30,000 residents living in the area.
