A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Emirati Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) and the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Jafza) to develop a framework that seeks to boost the employment of Emirati nationals in enterprises operating in Jafza.

This partnership is designed to empower UAE nationals with the competencies needed to succeed in key economic sectors, particularly in logistics, port operations, and supply chain management, in alignment with the UAE’s aspiration to establish itself as a global logistics center.

The Memorandum of Understanding was executed by His Excellency Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, who serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Emirati Human Resources Development Council and the Director-General of the Human Resources Department in Dubai, alongside Abdulla Bin Damithan, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of DP World GCC.
